ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Launches Podcast Series

September 27th, 2017   |   ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Graduate Institute

In two episodes per month, ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s new On ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´e podcast offers insights on global issues from ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ experts. Those experts include faculty and staff from ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Graduate Institute’s campus in Brattleboro, Vermont and our Washington DC Center, and academic directors and faculty from nearly 80 Study Abroad programs. ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s experts also include graduate students, who hail from all over the world. Many have seen conflict or humanitarian crisis up close, and others have worked in non-governmental organizations all over the globe.

You’ll hear from people like ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ president Sophia Howlett, Global Youth Development and Leadership program chair John Ungerleider, and ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Ecuador Academic Director Fabian Espinosa (pictured), but also from students like Fadia Thabet, who won a State Department International Women of Courage Award for her work helping children caught up in brutal conflict in Yemen.

The first five episodes are available below. Hosts for On ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´e include ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Communications Director Kate Casa and Communications Specialist James Heflin. Podcasts are recorded at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s Brattleboro campus. On ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´e’s theme music is by Western Massachusetts percussionist Tony Vacca, and was recorded live at ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´â€™s 2017 commencement.
